    crossbow question

    Hey guys and gals....question about my vixen 2 crossbow game taking capabilities. ...its 150 pound draw...at 283 fps....woundering what the largest game this would be able to handle from say 40 yards?....thanks for responses

    There's a fella on the Excalibur Forum called VixenMaster who has taken literally hundreds of big game critters with his over the years.

    As you likely know, these bows are insanely accurate.
    Coupled with the right arrow & broadhead, that's a recipe for success!

    I had a 150 lb crossbow that would always pass thru deer no problem. I wouldn't have had any issues to use it on an elk or moose out to 40 yards. I sold it because I wanted a compound bow, the crossbow got boring after a little while.

    This bow will take down any big game animal as long as your shot placement is in the boiler room,,shot placement is the key
    Hunting Elk Is All About Finding Them ,If You Can't Find Them Keep Trying ..
