Absolutley decomissioned for a trailer..a truck and tent could fit in.
Could maybe come up from the south off 5a but going to be hard on truck..
I was last there on sept 9th with my mom and she didnt want me to drive even through.
Thanks for the info
Unfortunately the Helmer is crawling with snipers. Trucks on every road. It's one of those places conveniently located within close proximity of the Lower Mainland. I spent last Sunday up evening there. Way too busy for my liking.
With the long weekend here it'll be worse. Any buck. No snow. No thanks.
Kami are you saying the road to Helmer is accessible for trailers or still washed out?
Helmer lake burst over its dam this spring. 90% of the Campsite was pushed with a dozer trying to plug the hole
Ya looks like part of the dyke didnt hold by the campsite up top and drained out a good chunk of the lake. Both roads on the west side are washed out. But truck or quad can get around.

I was there thursday, you can get in with a decent truck but like it was said before it was super busy. Lots of bucks have been taken off that mountain already!

Hunterguy I was accessing Helmer from the West of the area. Off 97C with Quads. I can't comment on the campground closure.
