I use the 80ATS for the last few seasons. Did a 10 day sheep hunt with it this year. Its great for digiscoping but if I was to do it over again, I possibly would buy the 65 to save 9 ounces. Also, at times I wish I had the straight scope. If money isn't an issue, I would consider the ATX/STX line
I just went through the same thing, ended up going with the 65 ats. Really wish I would have compared it to the 80mm side by side, the fov seems piddly in the 65 compared to what I'm use to (Pentax 65). if I was to do it again, I'm pretty sure I'd go home with the 80mm.
I run a 65 as well. I wouldn't want bigger
