    Transporting meat to alberta

    Hey people.....
Question for you all. I can't seem to find an answer via Google.
I'm working up in Grande Prairie Alberta and looks like I'll have a few days off. Thinking I will likely hope on home to B.C. and maybe harvest an animal. Deer or Moose maybe an elk lol
Anyone know what I need to do to take the meat back to Alberta with me, and then back to B.C. at the end of the month when I come home ?
    Thanks in advance.

How about quartered and bagged. No spine or brains.

Quartered and cooled down, bagged to keep clean, transport in vehicle with ventilation to keep meat cool. Assume your going to have it cut and wrapped in Alberta. Bringing it back home frozen in some coolers or insulated bags or packing should work if you make the trip a straight shot with few stops.

I think he means for legal advice on what he needs to do, I cant remember the whole definition but I do remember there can not be any hide. I believe it had to do with possible tick or other disease. I'd call and ask a CO as you don't want to be wrong on this subject.

because of cwd in alberta coming to bc spine and head to stay in alberta to be dropped off to the Department of wildlife for testing they will send you the results do not bring to butcher skinned lots of them will not except them going from B C to alberta cut and wrapped is the logic don t know if the cwd program is intact here good luck
