Newbie Question - RE: Bow vs Rifle season

Hi Guys,

Just a question I saw a mule buck that was taken on September 2nd not sure of the MU, but where in BC can you hunt with a rifle at that time? Is it not bow only...?

It was a velvet buck.

I am just curious as I thought BC was pretty much Bow only until Sept 10th... Not looking to stir the pot, just trying to educate myself.

Region 3 and region 5 have openings for 4 Pnt only starting Sept 1 in select WMU's. In addition, youth season opens Sept 1 in almost all regions.

Could be taken with a bow, youth hunter, in a select area as stated in regulations outside the GOS, by special permit . . . plenty of possibilities.
