    Bear - male or female

Since the bush is closed in region 4 I can only hang around home and check off a few more items from the chore list. It keeps things interesting when you have bears like this hanging around.

I would be interested in your thoughts about IDing this bear as female or male.

Looks like a big male boar to me. No expert but I've shot a couple.

Female or I mature young boar..

Nose long and tapered. .young or female..
Ears big and on top. .young bear..
Rear end bigger than front end..female character trait..
Front legs taper..and have a very noticeable wrist...young or female..
I don't think this is A young bear per say..
No noticeable characteristics of a boar. ..my vote is female...
    Cheers

Mature sows can be deceiving, especially at first glance, in that they show some mature boar characteristics. Low belly and head appearing small in comparison to the body.

Profile would be a dead giveaway, as a sow has little to no neck.

    It's definitely a male.
    Reasons
-huge neck & a big rounder head as opposed to a smaller narrower head
    -massive in size
-a dead giveaway-check the huge muscular forearms
