Hmm lol even after 30 plus years i get it wrong..but fewer as the years go by..
The wrists and front legs on this picture make me pretty certain.pronounced taper..bear looks decent size with some weight..but back end is truly characteristic of a female..larger than front end..cub producing size..
The nose on a boar would be shorter and bigger round..even squared off...
The head does not have a muscle crease nor is it as wide as i would expect on a big male...
All photos can be made to high lite certain atributes" at the expense of others causing doubt..
But that is just what, and why I think about this bear...

    Reasons

    -massive in size
-a dead giveaway-check the huge muscular forearms
Hmmm big boars do not have tapered front legs, this photo really high lites that.
Then there is the pronounced wrists..not indict I've of males at all and certainly not big boars..the legs would be stove pipes ending at the outside of the paws..not slender wrists
Big boars are squared off bodies..or bigger front ends..this one's rear cub producing characteristics are apparant."
Girls can be big too..ask Oprah. ..

Female left vs. male right-again compare checking size, head , neck & the front legs.

I think bears have three genders, male, female, and shooter. I think that's a shooter.

First pic from original post I'm going to go with female.
The feet look a little dainty to me. Facial features do not scream rough tough boar either.

My first thought was a sow because of the dainty ankles
