    Penticton hare

Hey all. Long time lurker, first time poster. I'll be in Penticton from the 5th to the 8th. For work. I have a feeling my company has booked us two to a room so I wouldn't mind being out til dark after a long day on site. No honey holes or GPS coordinates just the name of an fsr or trailhead would be nice. Thanks in advance HBC.

If your just looking for hares I'd just go the 201, 2 hours before last light, or first light are great times..

What project brings you to town Throwaway?

    Try cruising Carmi. 6pm-8pm.

I work for a medical and dental equipment company. New office going in.

Lived in Osoyoos for a few years after high school. Never been down Carmi that I can remember... any property or shooting pitfalls I should know of?

Agree with Harry, once you get up to some elevation on the 201, the main road and most of the spur roads, if you cruise them slowly you'll see the hares out on the sides. You can usually stalk to within shotgun range if that's what you're shooting (I aim just over the head with a 12 gauge on full choke) or easily pop them with a 22. Once you find an area that has 1 there's usually more nearby.
