Well here is a question my hunt starts oct 1 would i still be breaking the orv restrictions if i brought my quads incase it opens while we r up there.we wouldnt use them unless it was to open.

Hmmm am bringing mine, locked under canopy..not in use till its legal to use..

The closure says nothing about transporting ORV's, just using them. The peace officer who gives you that ticket would get laughed out of court...

Last I read the cariboo ban is in place till Oct 31. $767 fine if your caught using one on crown land. RCMP said yesterday the ticket will be given on any gravel road as well. It will be an interesting hunt this year. RCMP up here from Surrey and Cloverdale.
The BC forest service is the people imposing The ban.
