    Consuming camp meat regulation

There used to be a statement in the regs that prohibited the consumption of harvested game in camp. I can't find it in the current regs. Has there been a change to that regulation? I wondered if it applied to grouse. Anybody know for sure?

Seems unlikely to me that it would be illegal enjoy a tenderloin, ribs, liver, heart over the fire after a successful hunt? We've also shot grouse and rabbit during our hunts and enjoyed those as a meal. The best meal I've ever had was eating fresh mountain goat steaks cooked over a fire, miles away from the nearest road.

Never seen/heard that one before. The best part of a successful hunt is fresh tenders and back straps over an open fire.

As per game birds, I'm not sure how they'd enforce that one after the "evidence" is consumed. Stay within your daily/aggregate bag limits and you should be legal with a clear conscience.

Never seen anything like you describe in the BC regs.
