Cool Re: Getting pretty damn excited.

Thousands upon thousands worth of gear scattered among three rooms now.
Going over the lot, and deciding just what is "necessary" given we have run into a one boat limitation...
Truck still in the shop... SPOOKY!
Can't sight in the rifle without breaking the bans, all ranges closed.
New brake (due to the eye bullshit) on rifle, but un-tested...
Ammo, MRI's, and secreted away (from She Who Rules) funds all in place...

Excited? Nope, more like goddamn NERVOUS!!!
Guts twitching badly the last couple of mornings now dealing with self induced stress...
JeHeeZuz I wish we were On The Road...

    Cheers,

Can't you drive on a (designated) FSR and then walk to a safe spot and set the guns up?

    Re: Getting pretty damn excited.

ive learned to really enjoy the days leading up to the big hunting trip because its the closest days/weeks to the hunting expedition. Plus the planning and excitement are so fun. We try to improve on last years experience - some things we drop, some we add and of course there is always the new gear!

keeping in mind of course to conceal some of the planning and getting ready and research etc as "work" or "errands" around the house otherwise the wife can add up the time and get irate. the weeks leading up to elk/sheep and moose hunt I tend to obsess
