    Interesting I just looked at hundreds of photos of Kermode bears and very hard to find one with the brown legs and head areas like this one and the legs in the original post. Wonder what would happen if person harvested one fully believing it was a colour phase that was not in their minds a Kermode bear?

    While working north of Terrace and the Hazeltons in 1999 I saw two Kermodes about a month apart in 2 different inland locations. One was north east of Nass Camp closer to the Cranberry, and the other was north of Meziadin Junction. So they're definitely found inland and not just on the cost.

    Mammals and birds read range maps in the wildlife books so they are quite often seen where the aren't suppose to be.
