    Help for last Grizzly 7-51

Last year so lets make it count....

Looking to get some tips for where to get a Grizzly in 7-51

I am familiar with Moose lake and the Yedhe ATV roads

I have a firefish snapper 14' jetboat and ATV

Last year I spent 1 week on the ATV road on the Yedhe and moose lake road and saw 1 sow grizzly with 2 cubs and 1 black bear

Any advice on where to go would be greatly appreciated

yes up the tower road north of town near the little swampy section on the left..

big dark boar thought it was a moose through all the thick stuff as I was crawling towards it I realized it was a grizz starring at me 15yds.

I proceeded to reverse not a fun thing to tangle with..

I would recommend look more in the alpine safer hunt.

I talked to a local and found out that in this heat the bears will be up high above the tree line. Anyone have experience hunting sheep or goat near toad river/Muncho and seeing bears?

many years ago I saw seven different grizzlies eating way up high in the rocks up the racing river where you were recently spread over about 10km - 12km. I found out there is a bug hatch that happens where they go up high and eat them - I believe it was a moth hatch. This was early September and they were up there for 2 days that I noticed.

    Don't eat that bs
They don't feel the heat like us humans. They are where the food is, find the berries. Poop at this time could be made into jam pretty easily

We saw 5 grizzly in 10 days above or at the treeline during our early August sheep hunt. One came into camp at 1:30 AM!! Tripped our Pack Alarm - I'm a firm believer in Pack Alarm technology now!
