My bad....but this ban is more based on "politics" then on "science"....hard not to get it all intertwined when it gets like this.

I am going on record at this time to say that this is fake news/BS politicking. That being, having to leave the Hide/skull/claws to waste. I do not think and remain hopeful that such a regulation does not transpire!

I despise socialism and the horrors of cuckada and a no down payment bc.
I support no ban on Hunting, Firearms and non mala in se offenses.
It is unfortunate to have constant evil and negative alterations to already heavily over regulated activities such as Hunting!

Get ready after Nov. 2017. No doubt grizzly bears will lose fear of men.
According to the Grizzly expert Gary Shelton hunting grizzly instills fear of humans.

    Makings of a habituated grizzly.

2 days later CO’s had to kill the bear they thought was the same one.

Well, I have obviously not read the 76 pages before this, so forgive me if I am repeating someone. But my biggest concern is that Horgan did not try to justify this ban with science, I guess he knows he doesn't have a leg to stand on there. He said something to the effect that they were doing it because grizzly bear hunting is not acceptable anymore in today's society!! That is a scary reason, it could easily be spread to many other forms of hunting, first black bear hunting on VCI, (already done on QCI, only two bears per year allowed). What is next? Probably cougar. Then wolves and coyotes. You can see where this is going... How far behind is woodland caribou?

    I Wonder ...

if we will no longer be able to hunt for trophy gbear (meaning hide skull et has to be left behind)...BUT...
if they still let the hunt go on for "meat".....wonder if we can than ask for a season to be open in the "Fall"...
    not just the "Spring"????
Trying to find some positive spin that we can put on this??

If they ban gbear hunt completely....then the NDP has shown that they don't care about the "hunt for meat" aspect.
If that is the case....we are in for big shit.

If it is a ban on the hide/skull...then we should be very scared about hunts on species like sheep and goats as well in the
    future !!

The last statement of your post is our future if this is let slide. It's an easy way for antis to target hunters if these new regs stand.

Its not big crushing blows to are what wins a fight alone its all the little ones that set it up that lead to the finish. This is a smart tactic and antis are setting us up picking away at hunting right now
