Re: Breaking news ... Grizzly bear hunt demise

So these guys actually think that posing for a picture with the bear and then leaving the hide and skull to rot in the bush is somehow conciliatory to being able to take it out. What else needs to be said that would show their position is based on a complete detachment and misunderstanding of the hunt. That, or their true aim is to kill the hunt altogether....So these guys are in charge of managing our wildlife for the next four years.......God help us.......

Quote "But Weaver said under the NDP’s proposed rules, foreign trophy hunters could still come to B.C., shoot a grizzly, and pose for a trophy photo — regardless of whether they take the head or hide" Unquote.

These guys are fixated on people not taking the hide and skull of the animal which means they are operating completely blind cognitively of how their decision will effect the hunt, game management, or those that make their living from it. On this, and potentially all other hunting issues. We are in a lot of trouble and the sooner we get rid of these people the better. This is why we need a different system of governance. Most people who voted probably weren't even thinking about the Grizzly hunt. But now, these two douces claim to have a mandate. Another example of 51% ramming their personal beliefs down the throat of the other 49. Phuke democracy. It does nothing but allow these types of bottom dwellers into power. Decentralize everything.

I think you're misunderstanding the quote, what Weaver was pointing out was how stupid the new law is because they can still "trophy" hunt for a nice posed photo so for some "trophy" hunters it won't make a difference because they think they just want something to show off.

Something else I was wondering.. What are the laws if you stumble across an old skull in the woods?

I think leaving the cape to rot in the bush is disrespectful to an animal like that.

It's criminal and it won't hold up. They'll either make it so we can take it all, or they'll take it all away

Let be clear here, their aim is to eventually stop all hunting and yes God or whoever can help us please, not only for hunting but to save our province from these clowns

In NDP land , one day it is illegal to leave a hide to rot and the next it is illegal not to. Perhaps while it is illegal to evade paying taxes , tomorrow will dawn and it will be illegal to pay them ?

Not with the NDP. They're socialists. They thrive on other peoples prosperity and taxes. They will never make it illegal to take your money....never.

Lets stretch this out a bit. How long until an enterprising person shoots a big bear, takes a bunch of pictures with it and walks away. It's easier to take a fail to retrieve edible portions ticket than pack out a big stinky salmon bear carcass. Add to it that you can't keep the hide or skull so the only value to you is the pictures. Pretty tough for the CO to seize all your pictures especially once they have been emailed out.

Also tough with with the new tag system for them to ever see that you have killed a bear. Tag it and keep the tag separate from all the rest. CO may be able to see that you purchased a tag, but won't know where it is or if you cut it. Historically all the tags where together so a CO could see a record of any animal killed through the year. Now not at all.

Historically people would be worried about about losing their trophy. Now there is next to nothing to lose. They aren't going to confiscate hardly anything on a grizzly bear meat charge

lastly, the way this is one wonders what will be required to be submitted for compulsory inspection.

Never been a poacher ached in my life, but guaranteed someone will go this route.

The NDGreens have no use for compulsory inspection so that's not an issue for them. We've just learned they don't use science to make the rules what is socially acceptable to them, their urban and wilderness ignorant supporters and lets not forget their out of province animal rights environmental activist group contributors carries the day, that's all that matters.
its gonna take a life time to hunt and fish all this
