Heard the LM got some rain. I'm in osoyoos right now but did anyone head out to the vedder? Wondering if the fish are coming in now in some decent numbers?

Heard they've just been trickling in last week or so.

Should be good fishing for chinook Jacks right about now.

A buddy fished the lower vedder on Saturday, saw 1 spring caught.

Mostly pinks getting caught and released, but the odd coho has been caught as well. It was getting better and better but Saturday wasn't anything special, no doubt the comercial opener on the Fraser has had an effect on numbers making it through

The word on the street is that DFO will open pink retention on Friday.
