Hi. Has anyone been on the Fraser or Vedder lately? Are they showing up yet?

been out twice in the past few days, from my experience I know this seems too early. Didn't see anyone with any, didn't see any rise. all quiet as far as I could tell.
    too early yet.
Get it on the ground, that's when the work starts

What do you catch them on?

I tried red wool on a buzz bomb a couple years ago and never got one!

Going out to troll the mouth of the Fraser on Saturday, been hearing there's good numbers of pinks and springs coming in, hopefully we get some, pinks are so much nicer out of salt water than they are out of fresh water.

    The DFO website says differently.

    http://www.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/fm-gp/r...gion2-eng.html

There is no retention for sockeye anywhere and no Salmon retention on the Fraser. You can fish for certain species such as Coho and Chinook on many of the rivers such as the Harrison and Chilliwack.
