    Hunting new zealand

I have an opportunity to hunt new Zealand for tahr, reds and whatever else we want with a good friend of mine who is from there and has some pretty handy connections. I'm wondering if any of you have any experience with what the process and cost is with getting a few racks and capes back to Canada. And also how easy is it to bring your own rifle and amo to use? Iv never had any experience hunting out of country and honestly never even considered it before so it's all foreign to me.
    Thanks guys

I would get in touch with SheephunterAB on this forum. He should be able to give you lots of tips for such a trip.

I don't have an specific answer for you. But I can tell you that importing the antler is quite easy. I brought one from Germany earlier this year I was also going to bring back a salted hide but I ran out of time for drying it.

Check these website for requirements for the skull and hide and the cites site for allowed animals that can be exported.
