    Pro shops

If your new to archery do not rely on Pro shops to set you up properly. You might be taken advantage of. Watch YouTube ,ask friends and get as much information as you can ,then order online. Better pricing, more selection and in some cases better service. I don't want to slag all shops but one I dealt with when I started out took advantage of my inexperience ( my fault). The big issue was selling me a bow with too short of a draw. I could go on but let's end with this shop lost a customer.

Not recent ,got into archery a couple of years ago and looking back I now see how I was taken for a bit of a ride. It's my own fault but I now view this shop like I would would a used car lot.

I bought all my own gear for setting up my bows for the same reason. Now I do tuning and restringing as a hobby.
