    White rings are the give away , for the front view.
    If the rear view says BTail then its a hybrid
    Never say whoa in the middle of a mud hole

    You can,t make a definitive id from the pics. We need to see the tail.

    yup swear I saw whities on the island this spring bear hunting...even the tail looked like it just no flagging when they ran, black tip was getting pretty small

    Looks like a stunted Sunshine Coast buck. About half the size of a Fraser valley buck and pretty "whitetail" looking in the summer coat. Until you see the tail...

    Is it closer inland than Chilliwack? That is the furthest west I have so far.
