Leupold VX3 2.5x8x36mm anyone use these?

Just wondering if anyone uses one? and what they think of it? I found one for $480 shipped and snagged it up. It should be here by next weekend. This will be my first high end scope so I am hoping it will make a huge difference in low light.

I wanted one to put on my lightweight rifle but it seemed at the time all of Canada was sold out. Lol. Should be a great scope for you

My favourite scope for sure. I own a few. One of the most versatile scopes out there IMO. You will really like it I'm betting. What rifle are you putting it on

I have had five of these since about 1985, now have three and it is perhaps THE most versatile scope for BC hunting. That is a fair price for one and it will serve you well for a lifetime, especially mounted in Talley QD mounts.

Well i'm still looking for my forever rifle, Pretty sure its going to be a tikka t3 30-06, I went to the outdoor store the other day and handled at least 12 different rifles and it came down to x bolt and tikka for how comfortable they handled in my hands. Tikka won me over with its amazingly smooth bolt, actually very noticeably different then the x-bolts. I hate the cheap plastic mags tho but oh well, I guess it makes it lighter at least.

thanks all for the feed back on the scope, cant wait for it to get here.

Probably, drink Bud and/or Coors, too, just totally zonked!!!

i have had a about 50 rifles and have a dozen in th safe now. I'm still looking for that forever rifle. I think forever rifles are like unicorns. Good luck on finding such a mythical beast.
You picked the right scope anyhow.
