You may be right, go ahead and get caught by a CO with your dog off leash while you're big game hunting and fido's just along for the walk, could make for a interesting case study.

They have seen me with dogs , no case study to be done.

my dogs go with me everywhere...no i dont put a leash on my mutts....if i cant trust them enough to let them free,then they can't come
my dogs are all Border collie X, ive also had heeler X....the best hunting partner you'll ever have..has four legs

I know what some are saying. My dogs off the leash but you're not using it to hunt just a companion. But how can you expect a CO to just take your word for it? Too many ding dongs in is world. Just follow then rules like everyone else. No problem. Can't expect the CO to know what's happening when he's not looking.
