Been sitting around recovering from the first of three impending eye surgeries.
Doc's ain't letting me do a lot, so it's pretty damn boring alright.

Last year I once again applied for a Crossbow Permit in Alberta.
Long story shorter, my left shoulder is basically useless these years.
They never have fully figured out the issues with it, but perhaps the MRI scheduled for later this month will help...

Anyway, just the way things work out, I was unable to get over to Alberta until the archery season had passed. Got in on a couple of fine hunts, and did my work with the rifle for a change. Totally forgot about the Permit Application until a day or two ago...

Tried repeatedly to get ahold of someone in the Calgary office that might have some intel as to where I stood (should I re-apply for this year?). Finally did just moments ago, and the nice Gal informed me that I have two more years worth of permits awaiting pick up! And, she had already enclosed another application (3 year) for when the issued ones run out at the end of 2018! Awesome!!

So... a huge new order of custom arrows being built. Permits soon in hand, and a few ideas of where / what to be looking for.
Now if this damn eye cooperates, it could be a rather fun fall!!

Best news I've had in weeks!!

Cheers,
Nog
