boat only hunting and camping info

Was wondering if any of the fine folks of hbc have done any boat in only locations for hunting and camping in lakes in South western B.C. And if so where can I find some info on it...I figure I could pull my 18 footer up to a decent beach on say Harrison or chilliwack lake and set camp for a weekend for hunting/fishing/ teach kids...or do you have to go to specified areas?

Long Island , Harrison lake comes to mind.Early season black tails. The old logging roads on the island make good hunting. Bring a wheel barrow or bike/trailer to bring the deer out whole to your boat. Just watch out for the private cabins in the lake.
