Taking a rifle to the states

I have an elk hunt in Wyoming this fall and am currently filling out the Application for temporary importation for the ATF. In the rifle section it is asking for the Firearms Registration Certificate Number. Being that my rifle in son-restricted I assume I don't have this number or the Canadian equivalent. Anyone ever fill one of these out before?

I've just put N/A in that section after the registry died. No issues.

Just called the RCMP and they said the same thing. So you've gone across before and had no issues?
