    More bears less snow

    Hi guys
I'm trying to introduce my buddy that just got his hunter licences' to bear hunting.
Usually I hunt bear up north but no time for that now so I was planning to go up to 3 hours from Chilliwack but most of the areas last time I looked had snow and I don't wan to take the chance with the toy hauler to get stuck.
Any recommendation of a good spot that is free of snow and the bears are out? We did go in Chilliwack 2 weeks ago but we did not see anything.
I was planning to go near Gold Bridge but I heard that still snow on the mountains.

Peterhope lake and parts east of there. Easy on the trailer too
Take a kid hunting its more rewarding than shooting an animal yourself!!

Hurley isn't open for Goldbridge area, but you can go via Lillooet/Road 40. Bears are showing up around Pemberton and Whistler. No snow at Gun Lake elevation, bears will be concentrated wherever it s greening up.

Down low, took the kids for a drive, saw four does and two bears. One had FREEZER written all over him, alas, the kids were in the car and gun in the safe. I figured me putting the bear into a chokehold and putting it to sleep would cause too much attention and I didn't want to make the news.

Saw a couple bears on the way home from Boston Bar during the long weekend. Don't have regs near by but there was no snow around!
