Where are the deals on these boats?
New, scratch'n dent or used?
I don't need a trailered 14' up here in this country.

1236 lowe is perfect
I feel more like i do now than i did before i got here
Check out the new 1240 Lowe, Cascade in Chilliwack or Domenics in Kamloops
Cody: It's a pretty cool sidearm you got there. What is it?
Four Leaf Tayback: I don't know what it's called. I just know the sound it makes when it takes a man's life.
Marvin Boggs
Frank, I never thought I'd say this again. I'm getting the pig!
Frank, we gotta get rid of this broad. I know a great place up the road. Lots of alligators.
Marvin: If there's one thing I know, it's women and covert operations.
Frank: Marvin, that's two things.
Han Cho Bai: No, grasshopper. It is not.
I don't know what it is perfect for...other than it is light and small... that little boat is very tippy... two of us in a remote lake... upside down before you could blink... lucky the lake was warm. It took us maybe 45 minutes to get us and the boat to a shore, then we flipped it back and got the water out... carefully rowed back to the truck.
Never used it again, sold it...
. . . . .If I don't respond to your postings, maybe it is because you are on my "IGNORE" list
. . . . . . . . . . . . I don't see the garbage you write. It's a wonderful tool
Really depends on what and how you are using it.
Son just picked up a new Lowe 1040 from Domenics for fly fishing in small Princeton area lakes.
So far he loves it.
I called them today.
The 10-40 is priced near $1150.00
Then the taxes add a bunch to this.
Going to snoop the Kijiji and such to try and curtail this amount
by a bunch.
I found a few lakes up here not needing a 14' trailered boat and the
wee 8' I borrowed is a tad small for my liking.
Thanks for the replies.
Could always build your own for half that cost or less.
I'm not a carpenter by any means but I built a little punt for small lakes,
and am now building a bigger one. I'm installing a yolk so I should be able
to carry it like a canoe. It is a flat bottomed 10 1/2 ft long by 34" wide boat
that will easily carry 2 people and a large dog.
