Team QAD drop away rest...apparently it didn't or doesn't drop away fast enough and my fletches caused it to shatter? Anyone ever see this?

I have the qad HDX on my boat I also had it on my Omen Pro and it dropped fast enough
could just be a fluke...I am shooting the RPM 360...it didn't drop away a few times on shots, could be from that...

I have a spare arrow holder if thats all you need. If not email them there warranty is excellent..
I've used a qad for years, I only had one issue when I didn't have the timing right on the drop away cord.
I hope you get it fixed under Warrenty
Wait your fletchings shattered or the rest itself shattered?
I've herd of people having the forks on the qad come down so fast that they bounce back up and contact the fletchings.
Lots of things can go wrong on a drop away. You are relying on a solid connection between the cord and down cable, possible cord or cable stretch, wax slippage on the connections, mechanical portions on the rest loosening from vibration. Any of these and more can put you out of 'time' and that's what a drop away is all about.
All are a bad result.
All models of the QAD drop away plenty fast (even for the RPM 360), and like all drop away rests, they must be timed correctly.
Should the rest fall late, the arrow will slam into the flipper (This is due to the timing cord being too long and is a simple fix).
What model is it (post a picture if you can).
As long as there's carbon in the air, there's hope!
