    Nicomekl Enhancement Society Open House - Saturday April 29

    The Nicomekl Enhancement Society is hosting there annual Open house and Fish Release this Saturday, April 29 - 11am to 2pm

    5263 - 232nd Street, Langley

    There will be over 25,000 chinook to release, Tours, food by donation and more. They have done a lot of work in recent years. If you haven't been you should lately you it is worth checking out!

    Stopped at the hatchery today at 11. It was great. If you have kids and didn't make it out this year, make sure you attend next year. Kids were having a TON of fun.

    It's free and parking is free. Hot dogs available by donation.

    Kids were taking buckets full of Chinook salmon and carrying them down to the creek then releasing. Others were fishing for some nice rainbows (14-16") in the same pool they have at the abbotsford hunting/fishing show every year.
