    Re: String Jig

Is everything staying tight in both positions walksalot?? Or are you making adjustments when you turn them? I've always marked the position I want in line and then Adjusted it when i turned it to serve the loop, then back to the original mark to finish serving. Most jigs are like this, if you found a way around that I would be very curious as to how it was done, as I have a buddy of mine getting ready to build me a new jig right away. I'm thinking I want to do at least one end with fairly narrow gap between the posts to make it easier to do split cables. Any thoughts?

Willyqbc, the string stays taunt in both positions and I accieved this through making the arms identical. The other arms were a bit different from each other and when I turnend the arms to serve the string it went slack. That doesn't happen any more.
