I have all four (4166 4451 4955 and 7977) but have only used 4166 and 4451 a little bit. 4451 should work just great in the 280 since it's a 4350 variant, and 4166 is a lot like Varget, which is good in the 7-08

280 loved the 4451 today. 51 grains under a hornady 154 sp seated 0.01 off, fed 210m primer and win nickle cases match prepped. Just showing a bit of flat on the primer.
