See the post pinned at top of this forum regarding missing in Spatsizi if you haven't already seen it.
…..better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
Tommy walkers book "spatsizi" is good. If you can find a copy
I've been to Cold Fish Lake from Tatogga. Hike up hill to the plateau and you are sure to see Caribou. We didn't shoot one as we were holding out for a big trophy. We passed up one good one, maybe got too picky! Tommy Walker's book has some good clues but the best sheep area is all on the south side and closed to hunting. I'm not sure who has a float plane at Tatogga anymore but try harbour Air with a phone call. Try John Simmer books for a copy, he's local in new Westminster. A good copy will go $30 or more but its well written and you'll need a map while you read the stories.
Me and a buddy flew out of Tatogga last year, didn't go quite as far as Cold Fish....but definitely some of the most rugged but beautiful country you'll ever get to hike!
is there a trail in there it looks like on google earth from Tatogga you can drive to klappan river air strip from there following the creek/ river it looks like 18 km to cold fish lake.
thanks for all the input guys i really appreciate it.
Here's one thread to read:

We abandon our LEH trip last year because of the blockade. Two moose shared hunts, three caribou and one goat tag.
Our plan was to access the park via the Klappan rail road grade.
