    We had had ducks start nesting in June last year. May was the busy month so you will be fine.
    We put fresh wood chips in every year. About 4 inches of chips.

    Not sure how I missed this earlier, nice job Dano, I've always been intrigued by those birds! Many years ago we used to get a couple every year in the marsh but haven't seen very many in the last 10 or 15 years. Well done! K

    morning , was just down below the bridge on neaves rd this morning at Alloutte river and was watching a couple of wood ducks landing in the cottonwood trees on south side of river . was good to see and nice work Dano !!

    We are trying to get access the Alouette, planning on putting up boxes along the north and south arms. We need access by powerboat and its a non-power federal closure. Working on it but it may be next year...

    I replaced the old one and put in new shavings. The duck hotel is open for business.
