    - This is the first time that a solid plan has been platformed for the future of wildlife.
    - Phase one of the funding model has got the green light from Gov.
    - There is a phase two that would bring millions more to the table.
    - Something needs to be done to address the critical issues facing wildlife as there is no Gov plan or investment.
    - With well needed financial resources in play many of the concerns we all talk about can start to be addressed.

180grainer has taken considerable time to dig into an issue that he is obviously passionate about....and good on him.
With more resources these type of issues can be tackled head on.

Asco asked, "what can one actually do".
The answer is to simply show up in support of the future of wildlife in this province.
If you are comfortable maybe say a few words if afforded the opportunity.
At the very least just put an ass in a seat.

Bottom line is there is a plan.
There is a funding model gaining traction.
We can and will make a difference for the future of wildlife under this umbrella.
Help drive this by simply showing up.
    Cheers

Could you please share with me all the stakeholders involved that will need to be a part of deciding how funds are used from government?

    You've answered your own question.
    Stakeholders.
Guaranteed once the funding stream begins more than the usual suspects will be lining up.
I am sure there will be new players at the trough.
That is not the immediate focus however.

The big picture is getting this funding model built and working.
Anyone that is already trying to start debating on who gets what....well.... premature.

We need to get behind this and push hard to bring it to fruition.

Nothing I would love to see more than money for wildlife and THEN debating over where it goes.

Sure as shit beats that of complaining over the current state of affairs......with no money and no plan.

As someone who wants the current system to change, I will be showing up! It's my hope it changes for the better but it will remain status quo if no one puts in the effort to go and that's terrible.

Go get em Rob and the right attitude!
Bring as many like minded people as you can to a town hall.

By supporting this model we can and will make a difference in the future wildlife.

Sounds like church and they pass the collection basket around.
If support is what is needed, then send an email.
I can assure you, that if I dont show up.. the animals will still be here for a few more decades.

Great attitude. Good thing there are people out there that carry your dead weight.

Complacency and status quo will change the world.

Incredible and novel train of thought.

    Asses in seats it is.
    Is the BCWF a stakeholder?
Do they represent hunters and people who use the outdoors?
If it's not them then who speaks for us? I'm tired of BCWF being neutral about things that affect us.

In the mean time butt in seat

I agree with what you are saying 100 %
I just want to know when it comes time to making decisions if the bag of money from resident hunters and guide outfitters pocket books will be up in the big engine, driving change and pulling levers or if its gonna be way back on the caboose all empty and depressed wondering what just happened?
seems like knowing who will be involved with decision making might shed light on that.
Hopefully the town hall meetings go well.
