I've posted on one thread and created another on the BCWF's dedicated thread asking for information concerning not one, not two, but three broadcasts concerning a documentary made by a guy claiming the hunt is subsidized by the tax payer in BC, (among other things). And not a word from the BCWF. This guy was given a platform to spread BS and if the BCWF wasn't on the phone the next minute to these people, (CKNW, Global TV, CBC) then what the hell are they doing? I've been able to figure out that this film maker is a marketing exec with the tourism industry, that he's affiliated with at least a half dozen anti bear hunting groups and that he may have connections with Bryce Casavant's favs the Grizzly Foundation, who's two co-founders are in the tourism and eco tourism industry. And he clearly tells the CBC is just did the documentary because he was interested in the argument!!!! Where's the BCWF in this?

If your organization fails to stand up to a particular hunting issue in your mind and you identify it, it's not negativity, it's constructive criticism. Anyways, if I'm derailing the future of wildlife......let me stand aside.......

last time I went to a gathering in Langley the allocations got stolen.

Id like to advocate for conservation and the bear hunt, what can one actually do??

It's all about what WE CAN ALL DO to build more wildlife, a future for wildlife, if your desires are more animals in our province, more true conservation concerns, a brighter future for you and your families outdoor activities, show up and find out what we can ALL DO MORE OF.

Sorry Curly Top but I would like to make a few comments.

- This is the first time that a solid plan has been platformed for the future of wildlife.
- Phase one of the funding model has got the green light from Gov.
- There is a phase two that would bring millions more to the table.
- Something needs to be done to address the critical issues facing wildlife as there is no Gov plan or investment.
- With well needed financial resources in play many of the concerns we all talk about can start to be addressed.

180grainer has taken considerable time to dig into an issue that he is obviously passionate about....and good on him.
With more resources these type of issues can be tackled head on.

Asco asked, "what can one actually do".
The answer is to simply show up in support of the future of wildlife in this province.
If you are comfortable maybe say a few words if afforded the opportunity.
At the very least just put an ass in a seat.

Bottom line is there is a plan.
There is a funding model gaining traction.
We can and will make a difference for the future of wildlife under this umbrella.
Help drive this by simply showing up.
