Deacon of Inverness Kennels (GWP)

Just thought I would post some pictures of my GWP Deacon. He is 6mths old now and I have finally been able to get out and start some bird training with a mentor, this is my first hunting dog. The weather early this year was the pits which held back Deacons training from starting. So far we have introduced him to live birds and are starting to use bird launchers and the dog is doing great. Today was our 4 session and he is starting to get steady on the point and cautious to run in on the bird. I cant wait to continue training this dog and hunting over him this fall.

Nice! Love my GWP. I head out that direction once in a while to do some training with my hound (she's 2 now). I have a couple of launchers and a good pigeon supplier. Would love to get together sometime for some training.
