Has anyone been out on the bigger lakes along hwy 24 lately. I am wondering what the ice thickness is like on deka lake. I heard it has been warm for a couple days so wonder how much slush and water is on top of the ice.

Got a call from a guy at Deka on Tuesday. Said it was raining like hell and the fishing was spotty. Still a butt-load of ice on the lakes though. Like 18" 0f ice.

Had a family cabin on Deka since the 70's man do I remember some nasty march weather and ice conditions there this time of yr..
