Every year will differ a bit but I have a buddy up in that area I can have him contact me when it is go time but if you need to book a week I would do may 7-14

Depends where you go in 5..15..c..some areas will have 30 feet of snow this winter..other parts far less.
Usually good time for higher..the Pass area..last week of May..
If you are indulging Quesnel Lake most of the areas are high that have the slides..boat traffic and cut blocks..sooner
IMO MAY 7 is too early..it is a GREAT TIME for black bear in Horsefly..but not Cariboo Mts.
Bears are out..yes.access is however limited.
Any specific location in mind send a PM with ph number and I will try and suggest when and why.
