    They look great...I'm about to do the same thing, I have a few deer racks I started to clean up nicely for a euro but decided they weren't worth the effort to finish the skulls perfectly...so I'm just going to skull cap them and clean up just the caps nicely, and mount pretty much exactly how you did it

    I like when the skull cap cut starts in front of the eye socket on your deer, vs a harsh level cut on the moose...I think it looks nicer that way....either way both are very nicely done, wood looks great
