    the navigable waters protection act should allow use of it unless specified otherwise.

    Seems to me some Provincial park wardens once tried to limit boat access in Atlin
    Provincial park but federal navigatble watrs act trumped them.

    it's true, contacted Smithers parks branch, only guides and outfitters can apply for jet boat permit use on the tat. Not sure what the rime or reason behind that is,

    It's to limit access. Same reason it's near impossible to get a landing permit for a wheel plane.

    I understand its to limit access, if it's going to be limited access then limit everyone the same, if permits are going to be issued then issue them fairly to everyone. Typical governmental politics, and people wonder why laws are broken,
