It has been many years since I have taken this road. I have a work trip coming up in Smithers and was thinking of taking this road back. Spring Bear will be open when I go. Has anyone taken this road last fall or even this spring? Just wondering how it is?

It's fine but most of the blocks have really grown up now.

My friend got a big blackie there last year. The western half of the road has lots of patchy logged areas, lots of moose, elk, WT and mulies as well. If you have the time get off the highway further east, its all good hunting.

Thank you greatly. Being the first weekend I don't expect to see much but its nice that work is going to end up paying for a hunting trip.
