Yuppers, just show up, with optics and comforts, pens/crayons and clipboards are a good idea.
Viewing time usually runs for about 6-7 hours, meet at the Log Cabin sometime after 2.
Lookers are grouped, each group is responsible for a concise count as well as classification, according to the chart provided .
Also required is to mark sightings on the map, to help reduce duplicate entries.

SPENCES BRIDGE AND KAMLOOPS LAKE SHEEP COUNTS!

Every spring volunteers around south central BC provide valuable information to wildlife managers on the size, health and locations of important herds of our wild sheep. It’s a fantastic way to get involved with wild sheep management and an opportunity to dust off your bino’s, spark up a bbq and get outside! Participants will be organized into groups covering specific areas, spending the day counting and classifying sheep, reporting back in the evening.
WSSBC Annual Spences Bridge Sheep Count will be Saturday April 8th.
Meet at the Husky restaurant in Cache Creek at 8 a.m. for an info session. Arrangements for a meet in Lytton are in the works.
Call Brady Woods at 604-341-5138 for more info and to reserve your spot.
Kamloops Lake Annual Spring California Bighorn Sheep and Deer Count along north side of from Rousseau Creek to Ord Road area. Contact Doug 250-573-5570 for information on times and locations.
