Anybody try black cloud yet..... Just got some in looks deadly each pellet is shaped like saturn. intense stuff.

over decoys high velocity handloaded #4s or #3s knock em dead. I find that there just are not enough pellets with the #2s and you get holes in your shot pattern. Best thing with steel is learn how to call, and call em in close. makes for fun and fast shootin on a windy morning!! ive been duck huntin for 35 years and still got another 35 before i even think of giving it up!!

I guess our interior ducks are not as smart, I find 2 3/4 #2 to be just fine. For geese, I like to use 3" T's.
I wonder if the brand of shot shells make a difference. Even when we used lead, there were certain brands that I thought were ineffectual. With steel we get fps, rather than drams equiv. so that should level the playing field.
