Spots to take on SxS in LM

Hi all, I picked up a SxS a few months back. My 4.5 year old has been hassling me non-stop to take him out on it. Thinking about trying to get him out tomorrow. Any suggestions on places to go? I'm completely new to ATVing. Hoping to keep it fairly local and low key given it is his first time on the machine. Thanks for any advice.

Depending on where you live, there are ATV clubs in most areas. They are the best place to find riding areas. They also welcome new riders.

Try Quad Riders Association (ATV/BC) and Quads.ca for riders and clubs.

Not sure how highly the water is but you could go to stave lake, gill road on the Fraser in chilliwack , chipmunk creek, Harrison west

Without knowing where you live it's impossible to tell you what area's are open? This time of year be very very carefully where your going to take the young fella for a nice Sunday ride. In order to get off the main roads right now, up here at least, your taking your SxS or quad on sled trails, which is great right until you get sucked off the hard pack and now your balls deep in 3, 4, or 5 feet of snow, depending where you are! I've been there, way too many times, believe me! And if your the last rider out that day, your in for one long and cold night! And if you have your Son with you, times that by Ten! So, like the Boy Scout's always say, "Be Prepared"!!! We take a small snow shovel, tire and tow chains, water, a bit of snack food, blanket, and those hand and toe warmers are a life saver, we buy them by the case every year from Costco for under 20 bucks, and with young Kid's they don't always scream and yell like us when there feet or hands are freezing, so check them Often! It went down to minus 13 up here this morning, so where ever you go, make sure there's other folks out there too. Have Fun.

I like Silver hope creek/ Ross lake Rd as its great for light fun and lots of off chutes plus if something breaks down you can access if via pickup truck.
