    Hunting Podcasts

I've been hunting a couple years and so far just the one doe on a LEH so I'm doing lots of reading to up my game for next season. I came across a number of podcasts that have some great content for the newbie, here's a list of them:

Steve Rinella is pretty decent and I like his "Meateater" show too.

I'm a big fan of both The Meateater and The Rookie Hunter podcasts. My favourite episodes so far are The Rookie Hunter episode 37 a conversation with conservation guru Shane Mahoney. The Meateater episode 12 a conversation with environmental historian Randall Williams. Both of these gentlemen are of a high intellect and we're very interesting to listen to.
    I highly recommend both podcasts.

Try Highlander Hunting podcast for gear specific info.
We have an episode all about day packs-what we carry, one about rifles-all the things to consider such as caliber selection vs rifle weight, and our latest is all about optics- we sit down with a Vortex Optics pro staffer and he goes thru everything you would want to know about binoculars and spotting scopes.
