I changed my priorities a few years ago when I out in the bush, had the runs and had no asswipe!
This was in early November when there were no leaves, ferns, soft furry bunnies etc.... for me to use

TP or at least a J cloth will always accompany me while hunting.

Never again will I be without!

I always have a Leatherman wave with a firestarter attached to the case but that is the only thing I always have.

From there, depending on the mission:
lighter
InReach + phone (with GPS and HuntBuddy)
headlamp
licenses
magazine (I have 9 bullets on the stock, if 12 isn't enough I'll go back to the truck for more)
toilet paper
snack

One of my favourite Ford features is the keyless entry. I always have a key inside the rig and my partners know the door code.

very good topic. new to the game, every time I did leave the truck without the pack their was something I wish I had.
also I always end up walking longer than I original planned on. hence, no pack. weights nothing but if shit went down at least its on me and not sitting in the truck. good stuff guys, and gals..............

Everything goes in my pack or daypack, I cant stand shit on a belt around my waist, only thing I pack in a chest pocket is my Hunting licence and cel phone as it holds my mapping system and my rifle in my hand.
