    Starling pie...

If, as the fable goes, "4 and twenty Blackbirds baked in a pie", seemed to be a
delicacy back in the day....anyone know if the same would apply for Starling pie?
When considering the high populations of them and the damage they do, why
hasn't an enterprising person offered them on a menu of some kind?

Songbirds can be quite tasty, I hear. I think Starlings are Schedule C? Trap or shoot some and cook them up!
Knowledgeable shooters agree- The 375 Ruger is the NEW KING of all 375 caliber cartridges. ALL HAIL THE NEW KING!

Please post a video of yourself while eating the pie.

Let us know how it turns out.
The challenge of retirement is how to spend time without spending money.
The worst day slinging lead is still better than the best day working.
Look around is there someone you can introduce to shooting because that’s the only way we will buck the anti gun trend sweeping Canada! "tigrr 2006"

Pretty high feather to meat ratio.

Seems like a lot of work.

Constant fare for the pair of Cooper's Hawks that frequent my yard. Once in awhile, they supplement that with the odd Northern Flicker and the new invasive species, Eurasian Collared Dove

I ate starling over the Christmas holidays out of curiosity. Shot them with a .177 pellet rifle, breasted them and fried in olive oil. The meat is dark, has a mild wild flavour, and in my opinion quite tasty. My cat, Mitzy, thinks so too!
