Awesome...keep up the good work
I have always loved your videos Harv. They are very well done, I don't care about choppy I just enjoy seeing all the animals in the country you hunt. It's motivating for some of us islanders!
well being that i have spent forever and a day hunting sayward north ... i loved that video, lots of work involved to put that together. Keep it up, there only seems to be a couple guys filming up there.
I see 9 people have posted in this thread about his video, and he only has 6 likes on youtube ... just saying. Takes alot of effort to put fottage like that up ... how about representing ?
i liked and subscribed, thanks Harv

Nice job that's for posting
Great video, makes me want to shoot more video and learn how to edit. I see you packing a camera on the tripod, would you like to share what rig you use for your backpacking trips in the timber?
thanks! I'm using a manfrotto be free tripod, a canon 70d slr camera with a Rode external mic, a 18-135mm lens for close up, and a sigma 50-500mm lens for most everything else. the set up is capable of a lot more than I'm able to do, its tough to keep animals in focus while they are moving but if you set it up right, the quality is unreal. also pack a panasonic v500m camcorder for situations where setting up my big camera isn't an option. carrying all that crap in the bush can be a major pain in the ass sometimes, but it pays off and i wouldn't change it for the world. everything get shot, just depends whether its with my camera or gun. learning more and more every season and hopefully be able to put something out semi professional down the road one day, but getting professional quality footage of high country timber bucks is extremely tough, and to get kill shots on film, seems to be impossible so far. won't be giving up though.
Harv.
Another great video Harv!!
I sure miss those hills up there, loved to spend time climbing the back bowls just checking things out!!
Steep ground, big timber and rain/snow are all a guy needs to chase those mountain BT's!!
Are deer numbers down as bad as I have heard up there on the NI??
Thanks for sharing your 2016 year!!
Cheers
