I don't hunt where idoits hunt. Matter of fact, my boot tracks are the only boot tracks I ever see. If you worry about someone taking a pot shot at antlers, then you must worry about any branches from any trees above your head as well.

Only know of my Dad's friend years ago, who decided to take a bear and place both front paws/legs over each of his shoulders, and pack it out of a cutblock.
Yup, someone took a shot at him as he was piggybacking the bear out!.
Dropped the bear.
Shooter got in truck and was "out of there".
