I been having this same problem but only when replying to a private message.
i hunt therefore i am
overtime i go to copy , or highlight to put in a post i jumps to the bottom of the page

Happens to me when I type under a quote or reply to a PM. Very frustrating. I'm running chrome. I used to use Firefox but now that I can't run adblock on Firefox it is dead to me. Back to the Google borg.

I just press "Esc", it works every time.
